HENSOTHERM® Spachtel – universal – is a fire-protection joint and sealing compound (fire-protection acrylic filler) for indoor and outdoor applications for individual pipe and cable systems (LAR); it is also a joint sealing compound between metal and/ or solid mineral construction materials up to fire-resistance class R120, construction material class B1 in accordance with DIN 4102-1.DIN 4102-1.
Applications ‘Joints’
Joint sealing compound for fire-protection joints: for sealing edge, wall and ceiling joints between metal and/or solid mineral building materials with a joint depth of up to 20 mm max. and joint widths of up to 40 mm max. Can also be used to repair cracks.
Joints: for sealing edge, wall and floor joints up to 7.5 cm wide and to R120 in cellular concrete, concrete, reinforced concrete, lime sandstone and brickwork in accordance with DIN EN 1366-4 on ceilings from > 125 mm upwards and walls from > 100 mm upwards.
